Introducing Bloom Sweater Bundles....large and lofty armfuls of wool intended to become your next favorite locally-grown sweater.  These are giant bundles, weighed by the pound rather than ounce or gram and tied as individual skeins to avoid tangling.  Many are lovely shades of the natural sheep colors and the bundles that have been dyed are all of the same dyelot.  We understand that these bundles may not be enough for Every Sweater or Every Body...but they are a good starting point and matching skeins or coordinating colors for colorwork can be added as needed.
 
The impetus in founding Bloom was to provide makers with local and natural materials for creating warddrobe pieces that are neither synthetic nor shipped around the world.  Our Sweater Bundles are a further step in that sustainable direction and we appreciate your interest in domestic yarn.

BABE : 1800 yards (1.25 lbs) - DK weight, 2-strand single, 100% lambswool, creamy white
 
SOLSTICE : 1625 yards (1.1 lbs) - Light DK, 2-ply, 90% Romney 10% mohair, charcoal
 
EQUINOX : 1625 yards (1.1 lbs) - Light DK, 2-ply, 90% Romney 10% mohair, barberpole style, grey with softest hints of pink and green
 
MEADOW : 1800 yards (1.25 lbs) - Worsted, 3-ply, 100% fine wool, sheep's grey
 
HEARTH : ~900 yards (1.7 lbs) - Bulky, 3-ply, 100% Cheviot wool, creamy white
 
WILDFLOWER : ~900 yards (1.35 lbs) - Bulky, 3-ply, 100% Finn wool, dyed in the wool, choose Apple Valley or Bird Hill
