Moonshine is a 100% wool, standard DK you can return to month after month, season after season for beautiful stockinette, colorwork, cables or lace. You can think of it as Ol’ Faithful...but Moonshine will make projects glow with it’s soft, lustrous radiance.
 
Moonshine is primarily dyed (O) with GOTS-certified organic pigment.  (S) denotes natural sheep colors and the colors naturally dyed with plants, bugs and/or minerals are indicated by (N).

This beautiful fiber comes from the well cared-for sheep at Four Blessings Farm in Leverett MA.  Brad Archer has been breeding his Romney cross sheep for years with a keen eye on developing long, soft, strong lustrous fiber for his weaving projects.  In 2019 Brad retired from weaving, and this amazing resource was no longer being utilized.  I was able to offer him a fair price for the accumulation of fiber he'd been storing and have continued to purchase his entire "clip" for 5 years in a row, with plans to do so again this spring.
